Lovely Jess and a good reminder to everyone. This is something I am also actively working on. We have so much of our lives planned and managed and it’s important to have time for just ‘being’, time to hang out, even time for the kids to get bored. It’s good for them and for us.
Stop making me cry Jess!!! Beautiful photos of a beautiful family and memories to last a lifetime!! So proud of you guys!!!
Awww Carla – thank you xoxoxoxo
How’s your hormones going Jess?? lol But couldn’t agree more and starting to think a trip around Oz may need to go on the list for a few years down the track…Maybe take the long way home one day??
I just wish we could bottle it. X
Ahhh!!! THIS is what my two, years on the road ia all about. I may not being doing spectacular backflips or bomb dives into the pool. I am however, letting my inner creative spirit and my search for ‘the meaning of life / my life’ full reign. After 40 years of working, this time out on the road will set up the next 20-30 years. Well worth the time out, just as your travels have been and will be for your children and yourselves. Let the memories linger long and clear!!!!
Hi Matt and Family,
It’s lovely to see kids enjoying themselves by just being kids. Not with their heads stuck in some electronic game for hours on end. I’ve been following your exploits and it seems like a major adventure. All well on the teams down here in Queen Street. I envy you sometimes. All the best. Denis OLeary.
don’t you ever stop your planing lose that structure and organisation it’s a big part of why such a trip was possible—more more and more of same i say–
