(Violin playing)
So we live out of our old van
Travel all across this land
Me and you (we add in, & you, & you, & you for the kids!)
We’ll end up hand in hand
Somewhere down on the sand
Just Me and you
Just as free
Free as we’ll ever be
Just as free
Free as we’ll ever be
Drive until the city lights
Dissolve into a country sky
Just Me and you
Lay underneath the HARVEST moon
Do all the things that lovers do
Just me and you
Just as free
Free as we’ll ever be
Just as free
Free as we’ll ever be
And Ever be
No we don’t have a lot of money
No we don’t have a lot of money
No we don’t have a lot of money
No we don’t have a lot of money
No we don’t have a lot of money
No we don’t have a lot of money
No we don’t have a lot of money
All we need is love
Were Free as we’ll ever be
Just as free
Free as we’ll ever be
Ever be
So we live in our old van
Travel all across this land
Me and you
I love it, you guys rock!
This is really getting us all in and ready to enjoy the road with you all….Great Blog ..Jess!
Love from the Morris’s… You guys are going to have buckets of Fun.
Thanks Uncle Murray! We are really hoping the blog will be a great record for us and a fun way to share with everyone!
What every family road trip needs… a theme song (or two!).
Ours was Wonky Donkey (by Craig Smith) a funny song for the kids, and Kimberley Moon (by James Blundell) for the parents. I highly recommend getting a copy of both for your trip.
Play Kimberley Moon at night when the kids have just got in bed and I guarantee when you get back it’ll be one of those songs that will give you tingles (and perhaps shed a tear or two… guilty your honour) when you play it.
Here’s the song playing in the background of someone’s youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAckitVZxvc
